Colorado Bass Federation Nation

ColFederationNation150b.pngThe Colorado Bass Federation Nation (CBFN) is dedicated to promoting the sport of bass fishing through Youth, Conservation, public awareness and local club support. CBFN is affiliated with the Bass Angler's Sportsmen's Society (B.A.S.S.) and is formed by many bass clubs throughout the state. You are encouraged to join a local bass club and become part of this fishing community. Links to bass clubs can be found on the 'Bass Clubs' page. Join a club and you could be the next local angler to go all the way to the Bassmasters Classic!

The CBFN is a member of the Triton Alliance program. Details of this program are available at the Triton Alliance Program link and on the Triton Boats website.

HotHotHot.pngThe Alabama Rig

Demand for the Alabama rig is extraordinarily high right now and almost certainly higher than it will ever be again. At Andy Poss' TheAlabamaRig.com, all of their items are listed as being "temporarily out of stock" and the backlog has been listed as five weeks for over a week. It's obviously going to take them a AlabamaRig150.jpgwhile to catch up. One alternative comes out of neighboring Georgia from Sworming Hornet Lures. They call their castable umbrella rig "The Swarm." More variations will certainly be on the way in the rising tide of all this excitement. > full story

STP: The Glue of The Federation

Posted by admin on December 31, 2011

stp10.jpgAt a National Federation Nation meeting a few years back I heard what has turned out to be the creed I've preached since then. I overheard two State Presidents talking about STP. The only thing I could think of was I missed a sponsor announcement, and we had a gas treatment as a new sponsor. I went over to see what it was about, and at first was confused by the conversation.
